Drawings - Truco!

In order to get quickly started with applications for Android development, a team of Software Engineers colleagues at LG R&D made a Truco card game in that platform. Initially, the colleagues used images from the internet as placeholders in the application. Afterwards, they asked me to make customized illustrations in order to replace them.

In a certain situation of the original game, the loser opponent was called duck. So I suggested the Duck and Fox characters to indicate the losing and winning players, respectively. While the winner was undefined, the player would be represented by a human.

I elaborated these images for the game in my free hours, in the period of December 2010 through April 2011.

Game starting screen

When the opponent asked for truco or replied to a truco request, the original game used to show a same provocation screen. I suggested that in that impasse a gradation of the exaltation of the opponent should take place, and that yet another image of the opponent should be displayed in order to highlight the outcome of the impasse.

"Truco!"

"Six!"

"Nine!!"

"TWELVE!!"
